Originally a historic church, The Hidden Abbey has been meticulously transformed into an elegant event space, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, and corporate events. Conveniently located near Canton, Louisville, Alliance, Minerva, and Salem, our venue combines timeless architecture with modern amenities to create unforgettable experiences.
Our beautifully renovated upper level, known as The Sanctuary, can comfortably host up to 120 guests for most events and 104 guests for weddings (giving space for a dance floor). It features a stage with an exquisite stone-faced wall, providing an enchanting backdrop for your special moments!
Our lower level showcases a modern industrial aesthetic, complete with a stunning bar featuring a gas fireplace and impressive built-in wood cabinets. With seating for up to 80 guests, this distinctive ambiance is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Sanctuary
Our main event space offers timeless charm with mid-century touches and modern updates. Featuring:
Reclaimed oak wood floors
Vaulted ceilings with dimmable black chandeliers
Original frosted lattice windows that let in warm, natural light
A built-in bar with tile flooring, cement countertops, and a bar sink
A carpeted stage framed by original church doors—perfect for ceremonies or presentations
A wooden side bar with a large mirror for decor or drink display
The Sanctuary is fully handicap accessible and ideal for weddings, receptions, and 5-hour rentals for up to 120 guests for private events and 104 guests for weddings.
Lower Level
Located just a few steps down from the main parking lot, this space is full of character and convenience for up to 80 guests, including:
A large bar and stone fireplace
Two antique glass-front built-in displays—great for personalized decor
A mantle for signage, greenery, or seasonal styling
Direct kitchen access for caterers or buffet service
Windows throughout for plenty of natural light
Please note: This space is not handicap accessible but is easily reachable with only five steps down.
Courtyard
Our Courtyard is a versatile and charming outdoor space that offers the perfect combination of function and beauty. Ideal for outdoor wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour gatherings, or a casual space to play lawn games, this area is an added bonus for both private parties and weddings.

Queen-sized pull-out sleeper sofa in the living space
Private bedroom with queen bed
Bathroom with a walk-in shower
The North Suite also includes a private deck for quiet morning coffee or evening views

Dressing Suite
