The Hidden Abbey is a unique wedding venue and event center located in Homeworth, Ohio, convenient to Alliance, Canton and surrounding Northeast Ohio communities.
Once a church, our venue has been transformed into a welcoming space for weddings, showers, parties, anniversaries and other special events while preserving the character that makes the building one of a kind.
From intimate weddings of 60 guests or fewer to celebrations of around 100 guests, The Hidden Abbey offers flexible spaces for a variety of wedding sizes. Our Sanctuary comfortably accommodates approximately 100 guests for a ceremony and reception with a dance floor, with additional seating options available for larger celebrations.
For weddings, we believe your venue should offer more than just a beautiful space. Our wedding packages include many of the things couples would otherwise need to rent, purchase or plan separately, including an extensive décor collection, tables and chairs, linens with select packages, private dressing spaces, planning resources and more.
With two indoor event spaces, outdoor options, overnight suites and flexible packages, The Hidden Abbey gives you the freedom to create a celebration that feels like your own.

Sanctuary
Vaulted ceilings, original frosted-glass windows, a stage and flexible layouts for ceremonies and receptions.
Lower Level
A warm, modern-industrial space with direct access to our prep kitchen, rustic bar and room for smaller celebrations.
Courtyard
An outdoor option for ceremonies and gatherings, with access to indoor spaces when needed.
Overnight Suites
Two private suites with queen beds, bathrooms, kitchenettes and pullout sofas for convenient on-site stays.
Dressing Suite
A private getting-ready space with room for the wedding party to prepare and relax.
Lounge Suite
A separate comfortable space for the other side of the wedding party to get ready before the ceremony.
Wedding Décor
An extensive décor collection is included with select wedding packages, helping couples create a beautiful look without purchasing everything themselves.
Planning App
Every client receives access to our private Planning App with tools and resources to help make planning their event easier. Wedding clients receive additional wedding-specific planning tools and resources to guide them throughout the process.
Overnight Accommodations
Two private overnight suites are available right on the property for added convenience.

I don’t have our final gallery of photos, but I wish I did so I could attach all the BEAUTIFUL photos of this venue. From the main level to the outdoor space, beautiful doors and windows, even the getting ready rooms. Everywhere was beautiful & notably functional (hair & makeup professionals were so impressed with the set up & lighting in the getting ready room). The Hidden Abbey (& more so Amy Beth) exceeded ALL expectations I could have had for our wedding. Amy Beth is the most organized, informative, thorough person EVER! Her venue guide, decor closet catalog, preferred vendor lists, check lists for preparing up until the wedding day - all of it was SO helpful & made it easy & simplified for decision making. The package we purchased gave us access to the decor closet & it was PERFECT for our black, white, and silver color scheme. Her decorations are very nice quality & if you have an idea, she knows how to make it come to life. This package also included a night stay in the overnight suite, which we chose to utilize the night of the wedding, which was perfect so we could end our night on site rather than coordinating a driver to leave! We also opted for Amy Beth to be our day of coordinator, which was something I really valued because of her experience and knowledge. She made our day run so smooth! & I’m sure people are wondering: cost. Her prices are extremely reasonable especially for the amount of stress taken off us (& especially my mom - I wanted her to enjoy the day, not run it) & if you compare to other venues you’ll find NONE of them include all the things available here. If you’re looking for a beautiful place (inside & out), an organized owner & coordinator, & someone who genuinely cares about making your day perfect please book The Hidden Abbey! I could not recommend it enough! Thank you, Amy Beth (& Kenny) for everything you did to make our day so amazing!

We just had our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was amazing! We absolutely love The Hidden Abbey! Amy Beth and Kenny are so helpful and friendly. They made the planning process so easy and any time I was feeling stressed or overwhelmed, they reassured me that everything would be fine and that they would make sure the day went great, and it did! The space is beautiful, there is new flooring and a new bar upstairs, we also used majority of their decorations which helped us cut some costs and it turned out beautiful. This is definitely one of the better venues in the area with a great price point! We would 100% recommend!
